Applicants should have a wide range of experience in Emergency Medicine. ALS, ETC, ATLS, EPLS, or MIMMS is desirable. As a Consultant in A&E, should be available round the clock either onsite or on call to provide emergency care to patients ensure delivery of clinical care of international standards without delay is strongly expected.
We are recruiting for the position of full-time, consultant in Accident &Emergency Medicine.
Main duties of the job
The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient Accident & Emergency medicine service, emergency critical care, emergency interventions like Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and stabilisation, Chest tube insertions, initiating and maintanence of life support measures like intubation and ventilation, IABP, RRT etc, In Hospital and Out of Hospital transfer of critically ill patients, formulation, development and execution of MAJAX plans. Setting up and formalising specialist services like Poisoning and Toxicology services will be encouraged and supported.
Qualifications
- Post Graduate Training (MD)in Accident & Emergency Medicine
- Superspeciality / Fellowships / Subspecialty Training / Experience are preferable
- ACLS provider/Instructor
- ATLS provider / Instructor
Clinical Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience is desirable.
